What is customized Medical Skin Care? Each individual’s skin care needs are different and a thorough evaluation is necessary to determine what your skin may need to achieve the results you want. Our team of doctors, nurses, and Estheticians then formulate a skin care treatment program especially for you utilizing prescription-strength products and physician-supervised treatments that can give you superior results. What can prescription skin care products and physician-supervised treatments do for my skin? Medical skin care can: Exfoliate your skin to remove dry damaged skin cells and reveal healthy looking skin Stimulate the formation of new collagen in your skin to help fine lines and wrinkles, and improve skin texture Remove pigment as well as signs of sun damage and aging Improve facial redness and rosacea Control acne and break outs What is an Esthetician? Estheticians are skin care specialists who provide treatments to help maintain and improve your skin. Our clinical Estheticians work under the guidance of Dr. Small, and are specially trained to perform physician-supervised treatments using prescription strength products. What should I expect after treatment? This will vary based on which part of your treatment you’re receiving. Generally, there’s no discomfort associated with skin care treatments.  Immediately after treatment, your skin may be a bit pink for a few hours, but most normal activities can be resumed with no problem.
